Fenix UAS is pleased to announce that this week we ran our first SMS for RPAS Operators course. The course starts with consideration of the cultural foundation required for an effective SMS and then looks at each of the elements included in the CAA’s SMS framework.
Based on the SMS in Practice course that has been offered to certificated operators in the traditional aviation sector, this course is tailored to the needs of RPAS operators who do not have a regulated requirement for a full Safety Management System (SMS).
SMS for RPAS Operators is particularly suited to larger organisations, but can also be helpful for smaller organisations looking to improve their safety management.
